Vacation Rentals Across Copper Mountain CO Villages

Copper Mountain Resort is divided into 3 different villages - Center, East and West. The villages match the mountain's terrain difficulty where East Village services expert terrain, Center Village services intermediate terrain and West Village services beginner terrain. Copper provides shuttle services between them all.

Center Village

Center Village is the main village for the resort. It is also the biggest village with the most services and lodging options. Center Village accesses mainly blue runs with some black runs thrown in, plus access to 2 of Copper's high alpine areas, Union Peak and Copper Bowl. 

Lifts & Layout

The primary lifts for the resort are in Center Village and access mainly intermediate level terrain. The American Eagle lift alternates 6 person chairs and 8 person gondola cabins. The American Flyer lift has 6 person chairs with a "bubble" cover that can be put down in case of bad weather. The focal point of Center Village is the Burning Stones Plaza and the Eagle and Flyer lifts (where the ski slopes meet the village). Any concerts at Copper including Sunsation, for the end of the ski season, the Live Series, through the summer, and Union Peak Festival, in the fall, are held at Burning Stones Plaza.

Ski Services & On-Mountain Dining

Rebel Sports, in the Copper Junction building next to the American Eagle lift, rents skis and snowboards and has a selection of gear for purchase. The Copper One building, slopeside between the American Eagle and Flyer lifts, houses most of the resort's services for lift tickets, equipment rental, tuning shop and gear for purchase. Center Village has several food courts for lunch during the ski day. Jack's Slopeside Grill & Bar is in the Copper One building. If you don't feel like descending the mountain for lunch, you've got a couple options in Aerie, at the top of the Eagle lift, and Flyer's Soup Shack near the top of the Flyer lift.

Summer & Winter Activites

Athletic Club & Woodward Barn

Copper Mountain Athletic Club features a 25 yard indoor pool, hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms plus a full scale weight room and cardio room with stationary bikes, treadmills, etc. Woodward Barn is a one-of-a-kind snowboard, ski and skate indoor training facility with jumps, trampolines and foam pits so your kids can safely practice flips and tricks before trying them out on the mountain.

Restaurants/Nightlife/Shopping

In Center Village our favorite restaurants are: Eagle BBQ, El Zacatecano and Mulligan's Irish Pub. For places open later offering nightlife try High Rockies Whiskey and Wine Bar and the Ten Mile Tavern. There are Shopping options throughout Center Village, mainly on the ground level of the lodging buildings, making it fun to explore all the little nooks and corners for the perfect souvenir.

East Village

East Village is the first village you come to when you enter the resort.  It's also home to the expert terrain side of the mountain with a mix of blue runs and black runs plus the easiest access to 2 of Copper's high alpine areas, Spaulding Bowl and Resolution Bowl. 

Lifts & Layout

The main lift in East Village is the Super Bee lift with 6 person chairs.  The Super Bee will take you higher up the mountain than any other lift at the resort. The base area includes the Super Bee lift loading area and Copper Station Lodge.

Ski Services & On-Mountain Dining

East Village doesn't have a lot of services.  There is a Copper Sports location in Copper Station with equipment rental, lift ticket pick up and gear sales.  The only dining option in East Village is JJ's Rocky Mountain Tavern, a private restaurant, not a resort food court.

Summer & Winter Activities

Check out East Village Summer Activities here. The main summer activity here is Golf at the Copper Creek Golf Course. The pro shop is located inside Copper Station.

• Copper Springs Lodge

West Village

Bighorn Rentals does not currently manage any properties in the West Village but that doesn't mean you won't find yourself visiting it, especially if you are a beginner skier as West Village is home to the resort's beginner terrain. There are nice and easy green runs all over the place, perfect for learning to ski or snowboard.

Lifts and Layout

There are 2 main lifts that service West Village, the Woodward Express lift, a 4 person chair and Kokomo Express lift, also a 4 person chair. The base area includes the West Village Day Lodge along with the Woodward and Kokomo lifts.

Ski Services & On-Mountain Dining

The West Village Day Lodge area includes a Copper Sports location with equipment rental, lift ticket pick up and gear sales. It also includes the West Village Cafe, the resort's food court for the area.  Copper Mountain Ski & Ride School has its primary location in the West Village utilizing the beginner lifts. Check in for ski school is in the Schoolhouse building next to the cafe.
