Gold Pan Saloon

This bar is one of the most historic in the Breckenridge area. In fact, it holds the longest liquor license on the Western side of the country! Beginning as just a tent back in 1861, miners would come to the Gold Pan Saloon (then known as Long’s Saloon) to unwind on the weekends. The current structure was built in 1879 and has seen its fair share of historic events.

If you’re a history lover, the Gold Pan Saloon is for you! You’ll be setting your drink on the original mahogany bar with pieces of the gold mine displayed. Gold Pan Saloon, or “The Pan” as locals like to call it, is known for its great parties each night of the week, Thursdays to Saturdays being particularly popular for the live music. You can get tacos or sliders for just $2 each, or their famed green chili fries for $5.

Ultimately, the Gold Pan Saloon is where to be if you want great food and an experience of the Old West!
